The Xerolet Eco-System

The Xerolet Eco-System is a complete wastewater and water treatment and disposal system that eliminates the requirement for a connection to a central wastewater system and does not require the use of a septic tank.

How it Works

The Xerolet Eco-System is a dehydration toilet comprised of a machine that dehydrates the waste and turns it into a sanitized powder. The toilet is connected to a conventional whole house vacuum (the same that is used for any standard household vacuum system). The dehydrated and sanitized powder is then discharged into the vacuum cleaner bag that is simply tossed into the standard household garbage.

The steam from the dehydration process along with all other water from the house (sinks, showers / tubs, washing machine, dish washer, etc.) is then routed to a digestion / infusion tank that is located in the garage or a closet. The infusion tank treats the water with ozone and ultraviolet light. This sanitized water is then used for the next toilet flush. The system uses approximately 1 2 cups of water per flush

The excess water is then routed to an underground irrigation system or a drain field. As a result, the consumption of water is reduced by approximately 40 to 50 %.

The toilet is completely disconnected from the potable water system for the house. As a result, there is no need for a connection to a central wastewater / sewer system. The use of a septic tank is also unnecessary.

The toilet is operated from a 15 amp circuit with 1,650 watts of power and can be installed with a battery back-up system for use during power outages.
